The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention added a Washington state hepatitis A case to a national outbreak possibly caused by frozen berries.
A Thurston County man contracted hepatitis A in March and has since recovered, but the Washington State Department of Health said Friday the case is probably linked to 78 others in eight states nationwide and has been added to a national list compiled by the CDC.
